Drawing tarot cards
The deck has 78 cards: 22 major arcana and 56 minor arcana in four suits. When you shuffle, your browser's random number generator mixes the deck, and the same page never sends your draw to a server.
In Yes or No, three face-down cards are laid out and you choose the one that calls to you; that card is turned over when you choose it. Today's card is dealt for you and turned over when you reveal it.
Upright and reversed
About one draw in three (35 percent) comes up reversed. In this site a reversed card is read as a softer, blocked, or more inward version of the card's theme, and never as bad luck. Each card has its own written meaning for both directions.
What each reading shows
- Yes or No gives a graded answer, from yes to no with unclear in the middle. The answer follows from the card's meaning, and it comes with a reflection. It is not a prediction.
- Today's Fortune shows one card for the day with short notes on love, work, money, and advice, and an optional horoscope for your sign.
Your daily tarot card
Your card of the day is saved in your browser's local storage until your local date changes, so reloading the page shows the same card. Clearing site data, or using another browser or device, starts a new draw.
The daily horoscope
Each sign has a written set of short reflections for general, love, career, money, and advice. The site picks one from each set using a fixed rule that depends only on today's date and the sign. That means everyone with the same sign sees the same horoscope on the same date, it stays the same when you reload, and it changes at midnight in your local time.
It is not calculated from planetary positions or a birth chart, and it is not personal beyond your Sun sign.
Compatibility
A compatibility result combines each sign's element (fire, earth, air, or water), its modality (cardinal, fixed, or mutable), and its own tendencies in communication, love, and stress. Nothing is random, and Aries with Scorpio reads the same as Scorpio with Aries. The result is described as harmonious, dynamic, mixed, or challenging, and never as a score, because how two people get along depends on far more than their Sun signs.
Sharing a reading
Share My Reading makes a link that contains only the reading type, the card identifiers, whether each card is upright or reversed, the focus for One Card and Three Card, and the date for a daily card. It never contains a question or anything you typed. When someone opens the link, their browser rebuilds the reading from the same card data. Shared links are not listed in search engines.
What this does not claim
Neither the shuffle nor the written rules have been tested for predictive accuracy, and none is claimed. Think of a reading as a structured prompt: a way to slow down, notice what a card or a sign stirs up in you, and decide for yourself what to do with it.
